Exclamation Help With Catalytic Converter and Heat Shield

I was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly where the catalytic converter is on this car, as the scraping sound when i accelerate could be attributed to the cat. it has been replaced already before i bought the car by the dealership and i think either they installed it wrong, defective again, or the heat shield is the problem. i read a thread about it being on the driver side underneath the engine but was not sure thats where it is, as thats where the noise comes from. i know some will say i will notice it when i the car up tomorrow, but i just want an initial idea where it is.

thanks

your cat is actually located in the middle of your stock downpipe before the flex pipe. Your cat is closer to the engine then the ground...
Your flex pipe and resonator are closest to the ground, found right after the downpipe

would the cat be near the driver or passenger side, or in between?

right down the middle, actually a little closer to the passenger side, not completely on that side though
