I have an '04 9-3 Linear 5-speed, and in the last couple days, it has started dripping something, and I am wondering what it is.
Has a very light pinkish/red color and oily consistency. Is this MTF0063? I thought that looked more like motor oil with a golden color than any kind of a red hue? If it is transmission oil, do the stop leak products work, or am I better getting it to a dealer? TIA |

If it's your Engine seal it's Oil....put some UV Dye in the Oils and see if it shows up in the drips.... if it doesn't it's not oil.
Replace the Seal if it is, stop leak products are temporary at best. |

The coolant tanks have been known to link and that is a pinkish colored liquid... just a thought.
Where is the leak located (where is it hitting the floor in relation to your front tires/center of the car) |

I'd say just right of center, about between the radiator and front side of the engine.
