Wow, very very nice. 9k with huge power and unbreakable gearbox, does this mean the drive shafts are failing on you?

Post a video of it being used in anger sometime.

Totally awesome! And still 630cc injectors! Outstanding. WHen do you get the full boost? Does it spool up quick?

Looks excellent! I recall maybe seeing a video of this car on youtube? The username "Hammarslag" looks familiar to me for some reason!

Thanks for showing off the car, and your English/spelling is just fine. In fact, its probably better than most Americans' spelling.

edit: Found it...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGQI8fa9avc

Cheers!

Thx.
That movie is quite old, and the car is not tuned in at all there.
The box i used there is tuned for 8x 630cc injectors and for E85.
But that ride that day cost me about 1000$ in the end, had to buy new b206 block, 2 new shafts and redrill the new b206 block to 2,4L with 4 new pistonrings and bearings.

And the car only runs at 3 cyl in that movie, haha dident know that first it showed when the car was at Trollspeed for programming.

But i have learned my lesson now, never drive a un-intuned car.

Will post films soon with the final result!

WOW, that is pretty good. I can only hope that my BB will spool that fast.

Thats great! Really nice.

How do you manage to get full boost so early? Especially with those cams?

I get full boost at 3500rpm with my GT3071r 0.86 on T5 cams, tubular header.

Also - those are one of the few wheels that look good on the 9k ( to me anyway) .... what are they?

I dont know, Trollspeed (Frank @ former SQR racing) is werry talented in optimizing Tronic systems, if i remember right he told me that they use aggressive ignition to make the engine produce more exhaust = makes the turbine spoolup faster.
Also the engine is drilled to 2,4L, that makes a small diffrence to.

- Now the car is at trollspeed again (trollspeed.se) for finetuning for those racing shafts ect, will see how they effect the spoolup.
Will get the car back by whensday, will post more info then

http://www.garaget.org/video/n66lcks3wuxu <--- here is another sweet Saab 9000 aero.
Got about 700hp

Here is a new movie. The gear hmm dont know the word for it, the shaft to the gearbox is not tuned in, so i cant get 5th gear and reverse in.

3 persons in the car wet/dry road, and the piss stearing wheel is small so i cant see rpm meter or anything, got an MOMO Jet wheel to mount tomorrow

Looks very nice! I plan to run my holset super 40 out this year and then build my spare 9k with quiafe 6 speed. What people don't realize is the Holset hx35 and super 40 can actually outspool the garrett comprable turbos and make more top end without getting clogged up with lots of back pressure. One reason is the t3 turbine housing, but the hx 35 has shown to spool up as fast as the gt3071, yet make a lot more top end power and the hx super 40 will outspool the gt35r by 500rpm and make a good bit more power as well.

Holset's rule! Faster spool, cheaper, rebuildable, Holset FTW!

My Holset with 9k aero spec motor, enem 264/9.6 cams.

Holset dyno, Sae in Denver:

You can see I am a Holset fan and I had to actually hold back the boost maps for the first time since I have been tuning because the Holset wanted to run stronger than I had the fueling to support :-) That is a nice problem to have !

Really awesome vids! It would be cool to see the instrument panel close up.
Yeah, I already got the gt3076, and am on a tight budget, so, I gues I will stick with it.

What turbo flange do holsets come with, t3?

Up at 6000', I have almost identical spool up as the gt3076wg .86ar with my Holset super 40 16cm2, which is around 1.08ar and it just keeps pulling where the 3076 was starting to fall off. I am very happy with it.

My 3076wg could not make more than 27psi at 6000' elevation, but the Holset has no trouble making 30psi+ and I have seen it go 33psi and just scream while I spin in 4th gear at 100mph+

Its a ton of fun, I wish I had the autobahn to rip it up with some M5's and the l like,

John

John, whats the graph like below 4000rpm cos I don't think I could cope with having to hit the high revs to keep the car on the move...although once up there I'd probably quite like it...
I know the Holset 35 is very desireable but actually would produce more power than I need, is there a smaller Holset you could use to get around 400hp at the crank...about 360 at the wheels?

How come in Sweden everyone is using the 6 speeder, whilst in the UK its still under development....has anyone broke the 6 speeder in Sweden yet...cos they have been broke over here...quite quickly as well and not with mega power that your cars seem to be putting out.
