I've been looking for a 900, and I found this
1989 900 Turbo 5speed 119,000 miles tires 75% new muffler, tailpipe, alternator, balljoint, axle. tranny doesn't pop out of reverse tranny shifts well. engine runs well some surface rust $1500 I've read the buyers guide here, and have yet to look at the car. But, if the car doesn't make any strange noises and rustwise looks ok, is there anything else I should be wary of, and is this a fair price? |

$1500 seems steep for car advertised w/ "surface rust". Look for drive-shaft tunnel rust/rot, it can be a death sentace for the car (and you

As long as it is only surface rust that number isn't too high for that area. If you can knock it down a few hundred than I would do it.
