So tonight my car really got worse...I let the car sit for a while then came back to start it up and it started bucking..and kept shutting itself off. I check the oil and the car has oil..I even put 2 Quarts just to make sure. I gapped and replaced my sparkplugs but the car is doing the same thing. It starts up fne but when I put it in Neutral and then it bucks..then shuts off and while driving the car Jerks and Jerks and eventually turns off. Also...coolant is spilling everywhere..and I mean everywhere on the top of the engine is filled with coolant. I had a full tank of coolant, then i tried to rev the engine and next thing coolant alert came on, we to take a look at the coolant was everywhere. i feel like I am going to be spending a lot of money to fix this.

Just a guess, head gasket. I hope for you it isn't.

Here are my thoughts:
1. Leak in head gasket to cooling system 2. Antifreeze pulled into cylinder on intake 3. compression and or ignition send hot exhaust / burning fuel into cooling system. Coolant sprays everywhere. It might run initially until coolant got sucked in. When you rev'd it it would get worse. |

Told you what about a headgasket ( it was leaking) did you re-torque the bolts or just let it go?
