Default Muffler Recommendations

I will be putting in a full 3Ē exhaust system. As of rite now I have a BSR 3Ē down-pipe with the 3Ē flex pipe. Iím waiting for my taxes so that I can just put on a full 3Ē exhaust.

Iím getting a custom exhaust and a friend recommended that I buy my own mufflers and have the place do the rest. Iím not sure if to put I two or one muffler. I do not want to it loud because every cop will be on my *** all the time. I heard that people put on only one big muffler and it sounds good, but I also heard two glass packís on. Iím not sure on what I should, what would you guys recommend needs to be a 3Ē inlet/outlet.

I'd talk to Lou's custom exhaust those guys know everything and can build a really nice complete 3" setup. I've already had them check out my car and im getting one from them in about a month for not too much money. they'll also help you figure out what type of muffler is best for your preference

Thatís where Iím going . Just one of my friends said he would recommend I buy a muffler offline and not from them. But a few other people that went to Louís just got everything there. What kind of prices did they give you for the 3. Are you getting a full from them or just catback?

I'd use a muffler that they recommend. for me, they recommended their signature muffler. For around 300 they're building me either a 3" or 2.5" from the center pipe when i buy the genuine saab 3" Dp.

The price sounds good, I was hoping to use my tax refund to buy this, but I made too much for a dependent under 18 . Did they have any sound clips of their signature muffler? Thanks for the videos Rafal, narrowed down a few brands I was looking at.

I have a 3in exh with a race cat & a magnaflow muffler on my 2000 viggen. It's on the border for being to loud..... I have been debating on adding a 2nd muffler to quiet things down a bit. The actual note sounds good, it's just that it can get a little on the annoying side when cruising on the highway especially with people in the car.

Definantly does NOT sound anywhere close to what a C900 sounds like

I run a 14in round magnaflow where the stock resonator was, then I have an 18 oval magnaflow after the axle. Mine is 2.5in after the V2 down pipe. I would recomend a setup like this to you, if you want a good sound but not a bunch of attention.
