Default Fuel Pump removal

What is the trick to remove the large ring to get the fuel pump out on a 93?

For some reason the search function is not working for me.

Unscrew it.

There's a tool for it. You should be able to rig one up, or you can get it here.

just get a thick flat edge screwdriver or a 1/2 thick piece of wood and knock it round lightly with a hammer, changing to opposite sides now and again till it frees, have done it this way 15 times( broke a few cars and changed a few pumps, and just do the same to tighten up never had a prob
