Default plugs and wires won't give you more boost

There are no spark plugs and wires will create more boost, better plugs and wires will create a better spark creating better combustion. Get some NGK's your local parts store should have them for a bunch of different applications. For plug wires if you haven't done much to the engine don't get over 8mm and I am sure you can find red wires. check www.saabsavior.com I think that they have red ones.

Use the right NGKs for your type of driving. BCP7EV should be good for you, I would think. I've always found Bougicord to be a good HT set, but many people swear by Magnecor. I'm just not sure the money is worth the "claimed increase in performance" - better to get a free-flow air filter, run good petrol, keep on top of oil changes (every 3000 miles) and service the car well.
