Ok. 96 900s 2.3l n/a. Middle muffler, if was to be a strait pipe, how loud would it be? Would this make make a difference in performance? And would the sound be fart can or "sporty" Or like a g37? lol

it would make a small difference in the performance and it will be a little bit louder too, but not in a bad way, it will sound nice.

it will be more "throaty" if you will, not ricy. you will not see any gains. ah g35/37's and vw r32's for that matter... most beautiful sounding modern street car. a 4cyl car will never sound like that

I have no resonator on my 06 and the sound isnt much louder, but you do get a lot more of the "burble". There is no highway "drown" and you cant tell the difference unless the windows are down and you are really listening for it. I am sure the NG900 crew will chime in for more specific feedback on your car.
I also have straight pipe from headers to back of the car on my C900....same idea, isnt too loud and no highway annoyances! Hope this helps so what Drew |

Thanks. I said g37 because somebody wanted to know how to make a saab sound like one. I like the burble so that would work.

it would be sporty, but not like a g37, and probably not a big noticably difference in performance, unless it was clogged
Why do people like the sound of a g37? I personally dont like it at all, but that's just me i guess

best sounding car Ive heard besides a 575 maranello was a porsche 928 s4 with headers, no cats, and dual high flow mufflers. Milks ur pants.

ya, iv had friends say "make your car sound like nicks car" (350z with exhaust) more than a few times too haha. theres something about a n/a 6 that gets my juices going
