Default Oil in Intake manifold

2001 saab 93sc 4cyl turbo 2.0

Anyone know possible sources for oil in the bottom of the intake manifold (you can see this by taking off the bellows and opening the butterfly). The main bellows seem to be relatively dry on the walls but I did not check all of the other hoses going to the intake. Im just wondering if there is a quick thing to check because I dont know saabs so well (yet).

Other hints: Of course the car is smoking like crazy. It is also making alot of racket (sounds to me to be the valve train) although the oil level is good. I would also like to check the oil pressure. Does anyone know where a good place to put the gauge would be and what value it should read?

Thanks in advance !

Thanks for the quick reply, I was thinking this as well after reading other posts.

Question: I can see how the turbo can be spitting oil into the intake, but can you explain why it would make the top end sound so loud?

Check to make sure your oil light is actually working (turn the key to ON but don't start and look for the oil light). If the top end is abnormally loud, it could be starving for oil or it could be something innocuous like a failing idler pulley or WP.
