Default 9-5 tire size?

my 2000 9-5 has 205/55/R16
and i was wondering if a 205/60/R16 will fit without rubbing in the fenders? i would like to put a bit taller tire on 1 because they are cheaper 2 because my speedometer is about 4 mph fast

thanks
Ethan

Should you have 225/55/16 on an Arc etc..

That is what I had as standard, you can also have 215/55/16 is my memory is correct!

Check your manual.

I just put some 215-55/16 snow tires on my Aero...no rubbing even with the lower suspension...you should be fine.

Neither of those are the right size tire for your 9-5.

In 2000, the stock size was 215/55-R16.
Instead of changing the side wall ratio, I would suggest you put the right size tire on the car.
Also, there is a 4% varience allowed on the speedo so you will likely never get it bang on.
