Default Factory Fog Lights 2007 9-3

My 9-3 didn't come with the fog lights. It does have the foglight switch and when you push it in an idicator light shows up on the dash.

Does anyone know if all of the wiring in present to just add the lights?

If not, what would I need?

Are you sure you have a switch for the front fogs? There a two foglamp switches; one for the front fogs and one for the rear, located on either side of the headlight switch.

You may or may not need to add a wiring harness from the engine bay to the lamps. It seems that in 2006, some were prewired all the way and some were not. I don't know what they did for 2007, but it wouldn't surprise me if they omtted that section of the harness on cars without fogs. Usually, you need to add at least the switch and have the front fogs enabled with Tech-II at the dealer.

Ummm ... they are rear fog lights.

You know, like the front, but, for the rear.

They are exactly what the name suggests.
To be used in fog so that traffic coming up on you can see you from a distance.
Most European cars have them.
Saab is no exception and has had them for quite some time now.

Sounds rediculous. They aren't bright enough to see. That's what the tailights are for.

Screw it, lets just put headlight on the back bumper.

hah yeah, the rear fog light...

It's my faux brake light, when people are tailgating I press that, they think I hit the brakes and they back off (most of the time). In southern California that's about the only time it's practical.

Why is the rear fog only one light and not on both sides?

a car is not a Christmas's tree to drive on the festival's party .
When I have to stop in a trafic light during the night:
----------annoying me the third brake light and also,
--------- the anti-fog light (the only one allowed).

the light in the car must fulfill some specifications according with the laws and regulation of the country you live.
generally, the tail-lamp fog not used, the female housing base for the bulb must be bent to make impossible to be assembled the bulb.
and also, the wiring harness tail-lamp connector there is a missing wire for the fog light not used. (in some models).

This guy's spelling is great, but I can't understand what the hell he is trying to say.
