Default '08 OEM foglight install

I'm looking to get these:

OEM foglights. Has anyone installed these? Know where I can get installation instructions? Know how difficult/easy the install is? From the description, it sounds like the wiring is already behind the bumper, they just need to be plugged in.

Don't have an answer for you, but I'll bump your thread to the top. I'm thinking of doing the same in the same car, so I'd appreciate feedback as well.

I'm wondering the same thing. When I first bought my 08, the salesman was suppose to get me a quote for installation of fog lights, never happened. Only thing he said was that it would probably run ~$800 for parts/labor.

Now if I could buy these and install them myself and then have them enable the fog lights with Tech II, I'd be willing to try it to save some money that I could use on say...I don't know...BSR Stage 1 and possibly higher.

Definitely do-able yourself. You will need to get the switch and fog lights wire harness though.

WOW! Before I bought mine I told them I wanted the fogs installed and it was right around $400 and they just added that to the price of the car. I don't know exactly how easy it was but I know it took them about an hour and they work fine.

$800 is nuts. One of the cars I was considering, but didn't buy, already had them installed by the dealership and they were adding $349 to the price of the car.

Sounds about right $80 for the light switch, $150 for the lights and $120 for the labour and techII (hour)

Yeah, $800 seemed crazy high. Also, I think another reason why they did not get me the quote was shortly after I bought the car, the dealer sold the Saab dealership to another dealer in town. I'm planning on contacting the new dealer and asking about getting the fog lights installed, but I figured I'd give them some time to get settled in as a Saab dealer.
