I have an '06 aero and recently went to the dealership for service. While I was waiting, I was given the chance to test out a new turbo x. what is the main difference on why the turbo x's sound so much better? I thought the main components (minus the XWD) of the two cars were similar, would it have to do with the exhaust system from the downpipe back?
if so, how can i get my hands on the same system for my car? I tried looking around for some answers on the forum last night, but i could not find any. thanks. |

the whole exhaust system is revised for the turbo x.
BSR sells an exhaust for the 9-3 aero V6 that does sound pretty good. American retailer for bsr products would be genuinesaab.com

thanks for the responses guys. i kinda figured the BSR exhaust was going to be the way to go. the turbo x really was something to drive, plenty of power and even though it was only 40 when i took it, i had all the windows down and the moonroof vent open to listen. i think i had the car for about 50 minutes and did not even think about turning on the radio once
