Default Strange Electrical Buzzing

I've been experiencing something weird lately. The best i can describe it is as a relatively faint electrical buzzing noise. It happens pretty consistantly while driving, but never while on the brake. Basically, while I'm driving there will be this annoying buzzing sound, but as soon as I get on the brake, or if I'm just sitting there not on throttle, it will go away. Any ideas? Thanks

I thought I was the only one hearing things, but every now and then I hear something buzzing inside when I am driving as well. Its sporadic and sounds like something shorting out, but I can never find the source. It sounds like it's coming from the passenger's seat but when I stop and try listening for it, it's not there...

Assuming it's not coming out of the speakers, we definitely need an approximate location of the noise.

Probably the center of the center console, near the heater controls...

Check, service as necessary, the ACC temperature sensor/fan....noise travels...then there is the echo effect....

This almost sounds like a relay solenoid in its death throes.
If you can catch the occurrence of the noise and pull fuses, you may be able to isolate it...
Good luck

Yeah, it's been tough to pinpoint where the sound is coming from while I'm driving. It sounds like the center console. But I might be able to get a better approximation with a passenger doing the sound hunting while I'm driving. But it's quite annoying. I don't think it's coming form the speakers, because the sound is made whether the stereo is on or off.

The ACC sensor fan would not explain why the noise goes away when braking and stopped. It would seem that the noise only comes when the engine is under load. I'm stumped...

oooh! You should check battery voltage under all those operating conditions. I'm willing to bet you have a failing voltage regulator or alternator and your electrical system voltage will start swinging it a way it was never supposed to. Ideally, you should remove the alternator and have it professionally checked.
