I do press clear and it comes back every few days. What do you mean "make sure u dident loose anymore." Everytime the message comes, i check the coolant, it is full.

A gregarious welcome to Saab Central, Madnice.

This info should be in your manual, but probably is not.
Either the SID message is true positive or a false positive ..If false, the sensor needs cleaned or repaired, and this happens frequently. The sensors are not aircraft quality, but are closer to toy quality, IMO.
If , in fact, the message is a true positive, then time and effort must be spent to determine the cause of the coolant loss.. The coolant does not just evaporate...

Thanks for the help guys... I am noticing that it usually gives me the message after a while of driving. If it is negative, is it easy doing the cleaning? or do u suggest i have it professionally done? I'm hoping it is negative since the coolant tank is full to the top. thanks for the help again.

I have read where one man here used rice to clean out the reservoir bottle (actually an expansion tank - so it must never be "overfilled")

But I have no important details on this procedure.
Search
I'd use vinegar and detergent, but I have never had to do this on an automobile - but it works great with the coffee-maker..
