While constructing the shopping list for the big turbo, I came to realization that it would be great to have a database of sorts where people with the tunes 9000s would basically fill out the info on what exactly they did, what they are happy with and what they are not. First I think this would be great for people who just got a 9000 and want to tune it. Second it is great for all other tuners because this way you actually know WHAT works. And I think this can be better the sites like CarDomain because we can make it very specific. So, Ill make a form and fill it out, and anyone who thinks this is a good idea can just copy it and fill it out themselves. Feel free to add anything.

Best mod: they all are good Worst mod: Well, the zimmermans have REALLY small cracks around the holes. THe breaking is great though. I tried to make it as comprehensive as possible. Have updated mine with fuel pump and injectors.
Suggest that future plans are banned as anyone can make a list of goodies they want. Actually making, buying, fitting is another matter. In fact - I don't have my cams yet so they should be removed! |

Also an Innovate wideband to be sure I'm not leaning things out too much! Horsepower range: was 270whp and 320lb.ft (at the wheels) before the big turbo and injectors were installed. I'd assume it's well over 300whp now. Very fast up top, not as fast down low. Best mod: (Also the worst) is the big turbo. Its really fun, and out of hand, but at the circuit track I don't think its as usable as the smaller TD04 I had before. next mod: More tuning, getting the T7 boost control valve 100% functional and adding more boost to the equasion! After that, I'll need to think outside the box better brake and suspension solutions. Also, after having driven a very lightweight 9000 I think I'll scrap a bit more of the interior and lighten things up about as much as possible.

Crushed it every time I parked nose into a kerb! The future - play around with intercooler, 3" downpipe under construction, chase 300bhp!! I got 426hp and 429lb.ft at the dyno on 11/1/08. Quite a bit more than I had expected!
