hey all, I was just looking gasket kits for Uma for when I put her all together, and advance has the full gasket kit for like, $130, and its felpro brand, which i understand is pretty good, but certain online sites have an elring brand kit for $70... are they similar quality? or is the felpro kit worth the double price?
EDIT: the elring kit comes with head gasket, valve cover gasket, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, and valve seals, felpro kits comes with all those plus thermostat gasket, manifold-turbo gasket, turbo oil line gaskets, and a few other things i cant figure out what they're fore

Elring was the OEM supplier for Saab gaskets, they are from Germany... The gaskets you had from the factory are marked Elring

Saab OEM Elring you mean?
I removed the original Elring gasket off my 1987 900 turbo convertible built in October of 1986 earlier this spring to replace it with a new Elring. So at nearly 22 years old, that gasket did a remarkable job.

haha, gotcha, i guess i'll probably go with the elring, and get a seperate gasket kit for the turbo... question though, the gasket kit in question has a 3 piece exhaust manifold gasket... is that ok? or do i need a single piece one?
