I ordered 2 gaskets for a c900-T16 water pump about 11 days ago.
Still nothing has arrived. I'd like to fix the car, but have to wait till they arrive. eEU parts were quick enough to bill the card. Is this their normal way of doing business? I keep trying to reach them by phone and get their on holiday recording, or after hours the after hours try back message. They are about 1.5 hours away. I may have to resort to a road trip to Putnam conn. for a meeting of the minds. Anybody have any idea of whats up with them?

They've always been great. This is labour day long weekend so for sure they'll have been closed. I find email works better than phone - did you email as well?

Sounds like you got yours, Wonka.
A place with a superb record and yet they choose you to screw. Ha. I'm just glad it didn't happen to me. But then I know better. I wouldn't put it past you to go there and make a scene. Call your card, stop the charges, call the better business bureau of Conn. call the state attorney general. Go a head put them out of business for 2 water pump gaskets. You got you head screwed on right. You should have gone to a local parts store and gotten gasket material and cut your own. You place it on the pump and gently tap with a ballpeen to get the etching of the shape. Simple. Since you're still waiting, do it and screw eEU parts. |

I have always gotten every order from them the day after I place it unless it was a weekend; sorry it didn't work for you.
give them a call; they are really good about fixing problems when they occur. |

The only issue that I had with them was a busing puller that went B.O for 3 days with out them telling me. Other than that they've been great.

She's still floating. Those DKW pics you had were really reminiscent of mine. I still remember them. Perhaps that's why I "cling" to my Saabs and the like. Nuff said? Sort of dropped off since Wolfie and the like did. I trust all is well, on the other side of the planet. Family, cars, weather?

I suspect you are having a problem with a shipper, not them. There customer service has proven to be A-1 top notch, with many opportunities for them to fail over the years. They are even good about warrenty claims and returns (I accidently orderd parts I forgot I already had once...) I cannot beat their prices or service, anywhere.

I'll second that, once ordered two shocks on a monday, the Wed. delivery was one shock short....a Fedex Thing.

So I got through to them today."We had an issue with the phone System. It was kicking everybody out yesterday" Ok it would have been plausible if it weren't for the 5 min of hold time.
So the issue is two fold. 1) FedEx has "lost it" - even though the only trace of it was the info which was sent to fedex- So the package itself was not even picked up (8/22/08) 2) The laxness of the shipping dept. in not checking on the status of orders sent. FedEx provides automated delivery status summaries, which they didn't avail them selves to. So they were cordial and prompt, but lax. I don't want to be too harsh, Mr. Honda will ream me, lmfao. Oh yeah, they are shipping "another" set out today.

You may be the only person with a negative experience there. I have gotten my stuff superfast. The stuff could have been lost in the mail. Also, the wait time, you could be put on hold and they are not able to retrieve your call, that could have been happening with the phone.

I too have had several transactions and my only Problem was Fedex losing a carton, the replacement was shipped overnight at Eeuroparts expense.
I'd much prefer UPS shipping. |

FedEx is not the old Federal Express we all used to know and love. FedEx ground is what used to be Roadway, Roadway Express, Roadway packaging systems and Roadway Freight. Fedex Ground absolutly sucks. I have had numerous packages disappear, and numerous more delivered at my neighbors house, or only delivered after I have done a trace and found it was sitting on a truck for over a week. Last spring I found a package in a ditch near my house. Aparently, the driver chucked it out the window of the truck near my driveway and I never found it in all the snow. I live less than five miles from the wharehouse, yet they will not deliver to my town until they have enough packages to justify the trip. I have not had much more luck with the local post office either.
UPS on the otherhand has been giving me outstanding service for years. Unbeleavable service. They have gone out of there way to get my packages to me as quickly as possable, and I have never had any problem with them what so ever. One time last winter the truck got stuck in the snow about a mile from my house. The driver walked the package to my door, through the snow. |
