In a perfect world, every driveway would have a Saab. My neighborhood isn't pefect but we've got 4 9-3's on one street. (a lot of interesting vehicles; an S600, a CL55, an S55, XJR vert....The 9-3's probably the most fun though)

I'm going to guess that you haven't driven the S55, S660, or the CL55 before ... I would put those way ahead in the fun factor (based on what I have read as I've never driven one either I'm sure the 9-3 is a better all round, every day car though! |

I just got back from Detroit late last night and slept in this morning. For some reason, after the 9 hour drive home, I wanted to go driving. The rented Subaru Outback wagon was uncomfortable because the seats did not fit me and there was too little elbow room. Getting back into the Saab was a relief. I took the long way to town today and remembered to bring my camera. It was cloudy and almost misty, but a great day for driving. The leaves are just beginning to change color, perhaps I can take more pictures in the next few weeks. I am really glad to get back to the mountains.

The base model 900 ('87 900 8v NA pictured) did not come with a spoiler. The tail lights are not smoked, they're in a shadow. |
