good question rc...coz i'm pretty sure those new SS cobalts aren't exactly slow. unless it was a base model with a supercharger...then i'd understand.

but hey, today on a closed course that looked alot like I-15 I walked a hooked up RSX type S from 70, like he was standing still. I just love looking at peoples faces when they have that "Did I just get beat by a Saab?" look.

I have yet to play around with a Cobalt SS...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
So far, here's the cars that are scratched of my to-do list :
2007 BMW 330i Sedan (20-100 mph)
1999 BMW E36 M3 - Intake, lowered, exhaust - 2 pulls - (30-100)
2002 VW GTI VR6 - exhaust, intake - 1 pull - (30-100)
2008 Subaru STI - stock, brand new - 4 pulls - (55-110) - walked him every time!
2006 Acura RSX-S - stock - 2 pulls - (45-90) - not really a fair comparison

I got the "holy crap. I just got slapped by a Saab" look each time,
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Cars than have run/raped me list:
-2003 Dodge Neon SRT-4 - "Stage3+", No LSD - (45-100) - His tires were spinning up till 75mph, lol
-2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4 - Stage2, W/LSD - (30-80) - "Bye bye, Saab"
-2003 Mustang Mach 1 - Some Tune, X-pipes, K&N Intake, Borla exhaust - (60-110) - It's my brothers car. I expected it.

Most time I have a feeling to show somebody the power of Saab is a night time and only on a highway when there are almost no cars. I have already passed '97-'99 eclipse, ~2003 wrx/sti and few others which at least looked and sounded modificated. NONE of them wanted to race me, even though I was spitting my BOV sound on them, they were still steady.

I guess i'm not lucky ;/
