So finally I think we have come to a decision 3:00 PM July 19th..

Hopkinton State Park

There is no fee to get in the park...

What to bring..

Families, Pets, Bathing Suits, Food, Chairs, Sporting Equipment etc,

There is a beach and picnic tables and grilles.

I am not sure if we should plan on bringing food or what, that is still up for debate I guess... Post up ideas here.

It is a huge park tree cover plenty of parking we won't get hassled by anyone. The park is alcohol free but there isn't a problem if it is discrete.

Directions:

Rte. I-495 (north or south) to exit 21A, Main Street Hopkinton. Travel on Main Street until the third traffic light located at the heart of downtown Hopkinton. Turn left, traveling North on Route 85. Proceed approximately 2 miles to the Hopkinton State Park entrance on the right (do not enter the Field Office on the left).

I don't want to force a change, but I can't make it Saturday. I could make it Sunday the 20th. I don't know how many people would mind(or how it would effect) if the date were changed. Just a thought.


EDIT: I have added to the thread over at saablink that the location has changed, but the date is still the same. I also asked if more people perfer to have it on sunday the 20th. Depending on how many people prefer sunday over saturday/people who dont care, I think it would be alright to change the date.

As I posted in the other thread (deleted by a mod), I have a better chance of attending if it's held on Sunday the 20th.


But, majority rules. I'll have to see how this plays out.

ooo this sounds awesome i live just a little ways away from there and i know that town pretty well. i was wondering would it be cool if i brought some other car enthusiasts? they dont happen to drive saabs but they love mine.. but if this is a saab driver only meet thats cool too and i will be there either day that everyone chooses. only question is what time of day will this happen?

A mod changed it to 7-20 because that was the date that was won in the poll.. so sunday it is I guess
