a diesel version would be pretty sweet! i dont understand why there are so few diesel cars in US - i know only of VW Jetta (and soon Passat).

yes, VW in other words. same difference.
diesel is still cheaper. here in NJ i've seen diesel sold for $1.30 a gallon as opposed to $1.60 or so for premium... and i dont think gas is cheap - at least not anymore! |

Only diesel car in the US is the 1.9 tdi Volks cars, and that motor is exclusive to US & canada because the diesel is soo damn poor here (way too much sulfur)
If Saab sold a 9-3 TiD here my grandfather(non-saab owner) would buy one right now. |
