I'm hopefully going to work in the Perth area. Never been to Australia befroe so would appreciate any helpful information about the area.
Things like, where can I get a good used Saab from (can't live there without one of those now can we?). Where's the best ares to live, where to avoid. Best shopping etc. All the sort of things my wife wants to know. (if you know what I mean) But really any useful information will be gratefully accepted. Thanks in anticipation |

Best place to buy a used SAAB is online sites like autotrader, drive and carsguide -- I'd rather take my chances with a private sale than pay way over the odds to a dealer. Good news is Perth has a great indy -- Keith McCracken.
Best areas are the expensive ones, of course. Areas to avoid are Rockingham, Thornlie, northern beach suburbs -- you know, all the places where Poms congregate. Perth is not noted for its shopping but there should be enough to keep your wife amused -- my wife manages to burn a hole in the credit card.
