The pizzas themselves were fine, however they were covered in dust and glass, I literally woke up right after it happened yesterday, went non stop until 10 PM, cleaned up the place and boarded it up and sent all the prepared dough and all to the other pizzeria in the Bronx on Allerton Ave near White Plains Road, boarded the place up, brought the gates to the scrapyard, I was up there this morning as well, I literally havent eaten anything in 40 hours now.

The damage was he collided with the Nissan Sentra, trying to avoid the car, he took her bumper off and crashed through the gates. The poor guy who was sitting inside with my boss wont come anywhere near the shop for coffee in the morning anymore
This was in todays paper, got several pieces of information wrong, including the number on the address, so any letter bombs addressed to me will go to the store down the street

Its messed up because the car I use for deliveries is the Buick variant of the Cutlass, the Century, and the car that rammed my job and put me out of work for awhile happens ot have actual Buick rims, so if for some reason the car goes unclaimed I should at least get the wheels, because I think his license is getting axed after this stunt.

Its funny. My boss rents it out, he doesnt get much, but enough that he's happy, however its who owns the billboard decides what goes up, the past few ads have been for HIV meds, $399 divorce, and low cost health insurance.

My friends mother works with the people who were driving the Nissan, she was okay, however the condition of the driver of the Olds is unknown. Rumor has it he passed away at the hospital from a heart attack. He was taken from the scene by ambulance for shock, he was listed in the paper as 69 years old from Royal Palm Beach, FL. I really hope hes not dead, and I kind of doubt the rumor, since I'm pretty sure it would be considered a fatal accident if he died of a heart attack from the crash.

maybe the heart problem caused the crash? or are you on a complicated junction. I cant see a 69 year old from florida speeding!

When I first walked up I saw the FL plate and I thought snowbird, apparently I was right. (For those on other parts of the globe, snowbird is usually an older person from the northeast states like New York who lives in Florida for the winter, but when it gets balls hot down there they migrate back up here) The guy in the blue is a friend of mine, he owns that cool flatbed, thanks to me he has plenty of experience towing Saabs

I'm going to try to find out more, I could theoretically take his name and start calling hospitals in the area, however if its linked, the police will have to amend the accident report to include a fatality, so I'm going up to meet my boss in an hour for coffee to see if he got the police report yet.

Its a bad intersection, especially during the day when people are parked its hard to see from the sidestreet of Lockwood, and its hard to see people coming up the sidestreet at times. Lockwood is uphill but levels out at this intersection, Marlboro Rd uphill, and Jessamine Ave downhill, I've seen collisions in the past, and several almost happened by people gawking when they drove by. The only solution I could think of is to make one of the streets one-way going downhill.
