i posted a thread about wanting more power out of my 88 9000s

Same engine I think, but with a different inlet and exhaust manifold (i guess)

In general you should be able to run all the performance mods the other 16v guys in here do. So, APC-modification, fuel-chip, 3" exhaust is first stops on the way.
