You can get things like Fuel/Air, Manifold Pressure, Intake Temperature, Oil Pressure, Coolant Temperature, etc. You can get a gauge for essentially every aspect of the car.

Its not an exact science - rather than technical data you get hands grabbing the seat sides, sharp intakes of breath, and a few "oh my gods" etc etc......

Oh and then the threat of never being allowed into the bedroom ever again (assuming we live after the huge crash I am about to have )

I bet you can stop from 100kph in what, 5 ft? Thats the biggest set of brakes I've seen on a Saab, most of the others are only 4 or 6 pots...

Depends wholly on the tires, as even stock brakes have the ability to engage the ABS on any kind of pavement (well, maybe not a dragstrip start line). Bigger brakes are only going to help on the race track, where you need to stop time after time without fade.

I'm sorry but thats getting on for the worst caliper design I have ever seen. Worlds only "bent" caliper?

A set of decent 4 pots on a proper rotor and floating bell would do a considerably better job.

Although in terms of bling they do win hands down ;-)

I'm not an automotive Mechanical Engineer, just a mere Structural Engineer, but I'm having a head scratching moment as well over that caliper shape....

I don't understand what's so bad about the shape... That's exactly what you'd expect to see from 2 6 pot calipers paired together...
