Looking to top up the power steering fluid on my '94 900s, can someone tell me what kind of fluid I need to use? It looks like there is a leak around the hose clamp. Does the power steering fluid need to be flushed out periodically? Where is the drain plug?

PS hose are usually a proprietary item; check to see what eEuroParts.com has to offer.. I too have a bit of a PSF leak - somewhere; I have had to use about a liter of fluid in the past 3 years...

Earthworm's right, your car uses plain old GM type power steering fluid. You shouldn't need a new hose, just take the return hose off of the reservoir and stick it in a 2-liter pop bottle. Jack the front of the car up so the wheels are off the ground, Turn it on, and turn the steering wheel side to side, but have someone there to dump new fluid in the reservoir as it drains, because it will empty it in seconds!
