I just saw this on Genuine saab adapter and was wondering if this was safe to use on a daily driver/some track events car? This would increase the option on rims i presume. It says spacers, but im a little confused what it means by spacer, does it push the tires/rims out a bit more? I really have had no experience in buying adapters and would greatly appreciate some feedback before i even think about buying them

Yep, spacer basically goes in between your hub and a wheel. This allows to install rims with larger offset I think, and larger rims as general. This leads to more choices. Also, it has highly desirable 5 lug pattern, again increasing the choice. Theoretically you should increase wear on the wheel bearing, becasue there is going to be more pressure on it.

I have also been wondering about these adapters. I did some sleuthing about a month ago and found that they are intended for "show cars" which is a little discouraging but then again they can't very well condone them for street use per legal reasons. There is chick on Cardomain that is sporting the adaptors on a nice 9000 with various 5 lug wheels, the OEM Viking wheels look great on these cars IMHO. Mulik51 is right these adaptors will place the centerline of the rim further outboard, which is helpful considering how cramped the suspension components are in the rear. Just wondering how reliable these adaptors are, ~$400 is a lot of money, then again those viking wheels off my deceased ng900 are just collecting dust in the shed, hmmmm.....

that "chick" is putting down 476whp through them and another guy running 400+whp has been running them for probably about 5 years now. i think they should be fine if you install them properly.

original aeros are the flatter looking ones, super aeros are the sorta dished one, both are becoming ahrd to come by. expect to pay 500-600 for set.
