Default How do I adjust the driver side wiper?

Recently I needed the dealership to fix the linkage for the wipers I busted while trying to push too much snow off of my windshield. Well, the dealer fixed it, but the drivers side wiper no over-extends and bumps the far end of the winshield making a "bump" noise when the wipers reach full extension.

I took those black caps off and used a 13mm socket to loosen the wiper arms. The passanger side moved easily, but the drivers side doesnt want to move. I'm afraid if I try to force it, I will be back to square one (breaking my linkage)

Any help wpuld be greatly appreciated, as I dont feel like driving the hour and 20 minutes to the dealership for something I should be able to do on my own.

***EDIT****
Nevermind figured it out. Just needed to be a bit forcefull. thank god I didnt break the linkage.
