Anyone know a tuner style rim that is available for Saabs? I have a 1995 900se convertible and I can't find anyone that makes a "Satin", "Gunmetal", or dark grey colored rim in an 18 for my car. I really want a Gunmetal color in a 5 spoke design. If I am going to be paying a lot of money I want to love these things and get what I want. I was thinking something similar to these: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Displ...atin+Sil+Paint
Those are the SSR GT3's in a Satin finish (in case the link doesn't work). Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Kyle |

100+ or teamdynamics or rimstock [whatever they trade under in the US] do a range if rims in colours in GM five stud. Rummage around online.
If you use the search tool, look in the 900 9-3 workshop, look up my posting 'I'll show you mine' pics of my ng900 with 100+ qualifiers [17" tho] they are available in white, chrome and anthracite as well. Room enough in there now for the 308mm front brake conversion from Courtenay Turbos  I think thats gotta happen. |

Yes Bernie, that is very similar to what I am looking for. I will check those companies out ragtopcav and see if I can find anything. And thanks trexturk, I have looked there and have to wait until monday to call, but hopefully they make something that I like in our boltpattern. I guess ours, 5x110mm is very rare. So it makes it hard for me to find anything. I also found a place called wheelmax (www.wheelmax.com) and they have a lot but again, I can't find anything in a 5x110. They are open today so I am going to give them a holler and see what they can do. Thanks again all and if anyone knows of any other sites PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!

Yeah the link doesn't seem to work for me. Anyways, new question. If no one answers this I may have to start a new post in the workshop but is there a difference in the boltpattern of a 1999 9-3 and a 1995 900se? I wouldn't think so but then again, I don't want to order something and then be wrong and have to return it. Thanks again all!

Here is a pic of my 95 saab set conv with gunmetal 18"Axis Se7ens rims.....they were custom drilled! Im thinkin of selling them for a 3 piece rim......
Just ask your rim shop, for any style blank wheel that they can send out to get drilled for you! There might be an extra charge of $100 -$150 but then again you will more than likely be the only Saab owner with those rims, know what i mean! |
