Question Windshield washer nozzle mod?
Has anyone ever tried to replace the windshield washer jets (three nozzles making six straight fluid jets) with something producing more of a dispersed spray? (like in new hondas, lexus, etc.) I always enjoyed that complete coverage of the windshield rather than only having six spots where the fluid is delivered and then spreading it around with wipers. Any ideas/comments about that?

My son has done this to his Peugeot and they now shower or rather mist the screen - very effective!

Do you know where did he get the nozzles? From what car? Or better, what car would be a good source for nozzles for 9-5?

He said he used Citroen xsara ones. We do not yet know if they fit we will try this weekend and let you know!!

If they don't fit try VW Passat ones (my03 onwards). They have those fine mist jets that cover the screen so much better than OE washers.

I have ones from a newer Volvo, I think it's the X/V40.

Why do you want to put on a open air intake if I may ask?
Powerwise the stock intake with stock paper filter flows more then enough air for +400hp

i agree
i also dislike the spray type...the mist on the three GM cars we have are much better. (olds alero, chevy trailblazer, and Chevy astro) But the problem with those cars is they have the nozzles on the wiper arms...

I'm seriously interested of such mode,nothing to play with engine now-it means I have to tune something else.
