It`s new metalparts, but you cant buy those at SAAB anymore but i have searched on the internet on different salesforums. It was pure luck to find those parts.
Hmm, do you mean if i frontsmash the car? I think its just so secure that orignal welding. I weld more than it is original to be sure.

I imagine Sweden has more to offer in terms of new SAAB parts ... at least those factory outlets (as at SAAB festival), but to see new body parts that way you perhaps might be able to find a new saab body somewhere in some Trolhattan`s forgotten warehouse.

I really like the colour combo of your car plus the pre-facelift style. Red leather interior is my favourite.

No no just the front, from the wall under windshield and forward. So its still a lot to do with the car. But its a big step

I dont no if this is handmade?

If anyone have interesting facts on this car i`m very glad if you told me

Yeah I´m gona try to have the car ready for SAAB Festival 2009, we will se how it goes. It´s only a question about money, it´s not cheap a project like this
But my first goal is to have a hole body free from rust before it turns to 2008

It`s BLA 669, it is a LUX on the paper.

You are doing an incredible job, a true asset to the preservation of the c900.

A very special and rare car indeed, the best of luck.

I think you have taken care of the hardest part, looks fantastic!

I am lost for words. But we'll have a go anyway

I hae always loved those pearl Aeros. Quite special cars. The rot on that car is very extensive and your skill and dedication is staggering. I have never before seen photos of rust repair on that scale.

I think this is the best project thread in this forum!

It's a stupid limit set up in the forum software. My advice: ignore it and just make multiple posts

This is SO sick. Weren't there only about four or six of those made? I thought I read that somewhere. Either way I think that's the best color combo for the old style SPG's. Good job!

5 were made, 4 are left...Orcas special editions website has details about this model.

I also noticed that the grille and headlights are wrong...and the hood...whats up with that?

I never knew that the wheel housings could be removed and replaced.
Any special tools required to align them to the right dimensions ?

Your work is simply amazing !
