Default Billet Gas Door?

I was looking at my poor rusting away gas door and it's time to do something about it.

I was thinking about sandblasting it, priming it/filler, then having a can of spray made to match. A bit of DIY.

But then I saw a while back someone who put a billet gas door on a C900?

Where would one get such a thing? Any specifically made for the C900? Some pictures of anyone who has done it?

I assume they modified one for an American car/truck/suv?

Thanks!

Oh no, you were going to say "seem popular with the young ones" weren't you?

To be exact I was going to say "seem popular with the ricer types" -

What'd look better would be if you could graft a "le mans" gas cap from an old Jag onto it ....

I think it looks pretty good on the car pictured above, Thanks!

Perhaps I'll stay away from the "ricer" parts...

But then again I did mesh my rear vents as well as the hood vents.

But the mesh on the hood vent actually keeps leaves out of the intake box!

Maybe, then, you should try a nice walnut gas lid?

I have to say the twin gas caps on the Jag XJ make for one of the nicest bits of auto industrial design I have ever seen
