Default Parrot mk6000

I recently baught a parrot mk6000 bluetooth handsfree kit to replace my old ck1000 that worked well.

http://www.parrot.com/uk/support/onl...s/parrotmk6000

The reason was so I could stream mp3's from my phone and not have to carry any extra equipment with me such as an ipod.

The handsfree is good, but the sound on the streaming is tinny and poor. All the reviews say sound is excellent.

I have it wired in the first way shown in the user guide, but am wondering if it would be better to hack into the cable between the head unit and the amp and go the second method.

Any ideas?
