Sylvania super whites

I installed these about 2 months ago, about a week ago my left side lamp blew and I replaced it. Today my right side blew.... I am done with them! Did anyone also have this problem?

What should I get? I want that HID look

Did you touch the glass with your fingers? Getting Body Oils on the glass creates Hotspots which cause the bulb to fail.

Personally I get the Osram Cool Blues, although now the New Kid is the 80% Extremes, I'll wait till I need them.

Philips Extreme 80% and LED city light( super white) makes the front really white with a hint of blue.

Don't be concerned about what looks super blue or white...
But you are right in wanting "white" light because the more you go to blue or purple it is just more bling and less light. Easy to say but fact.

For halogen lighting it is certain that today Philips X-treme are the best available. But, in N.America not yet easily available.
