I need to replace the right inner universal joint this Saturday and I need to purchase the correct wrench. My set is up to 28, and I guess that one is 31 or 32 but I want to be sure. Anyone knows? Thanks in advance

From memory it is 32mm.

It is past my bed time so I cannot check physically; Canada and the US is currently wide awake, so if someone there can confirm?

I have heard both 32mm and 1.25 inches; obviously one of these is a "close enough" value.

Gentlemen, the two of you win the Kewpie doll. http://www.saabcentral.com/%7Emunki/...strut_assy.htm

Thanks to Munki.
I use 1 1/4" S & K , the 32 is better... and more modern

Default thanks

Thanks , I also guessed it's 32 but now I'm sure. Tomorrow is the big day, I've been waiting for it for two months. I got very unlucky with shipping delays, missing parts (boot kits), but now I'm ready.

I hope there's no need to use a big hammer for a 2001 car like in 12) step, at the front strut assembly. Haynes and WIS are both saying rubber mallet, so I guess it's enough.

Unfortunately my camera is damaged thanks to Canon black screen of death, so I won't be able to take pictures.
