Hello, My 1997 900 S in beautiful shape had a fan belt mishap - car overheated and died, had it towed, belt replaced, everything fine power wise except the radio. SID is fine, checked not only radio related fuses but all fuses (under hood as well) working. No power to radio at all; no antenna raising, nothing. Also tried the push on button simultaneously with band, nothing - HELP! Thanks all.

You'll have better luck here. Sounds like maybe the battery was disconnected and now the radio needs to be reset.

thanks jet but wouldn't the radio at least ask for the code or something to be reset now that the battery is rehooked up? I can't get any power to it at all. By the way, it's the original radio with a clarion cd changer in trunk. The only thing working radio related is the eject on the cd changer. All other battery operated stuff works (interior lights, trunk lights, etc.). If its not a fuse, what else powers the radio? (ME <-----feeling stupid) thanks again, love this site, wish I'd found it years ago.

Use a flashlight, and look at every fuse, i doubt it would matter, but I did have a car that needed the cig lighter fuse to work, in order for the radio to work, even tho it had its own fuse.

YAY! I changed every radio related fuse and IT WORKS! Fuse tester had indicated all fuses working but it was WRONG. Don't know which fuse was blown; don't care. Now I have to call the dealer and get the &%#* code. Whoooohooo! My tunes are almost with me again. Almost there. Thanks for the input!
