about bulbs. would like to upgrade my high beams from halogen(boo!) to xenon. do I need to purchase any connectors? the bulbs are 70w, 4.3k bright white. http://www.hoen-usa.com/ti.htm
any suggestions are welcome. |

They seem to be high power H7's your looking at not Xenon....70 watts will get your wiring a bit warmer your going from a roughly 4.5 to 5.8 amp draw per lamp. Might be Smart to ask them about connectors...actually could be dumb too, they might just say yes to sell them.

From the link it appears that these lights are not true Xenons just Super High wattage bulbs that are supposed to match the Xenons. I would not put such a high wattage bulb in. They get even hotter and will probably melt the stock wiring harness. True Xenons are a much lower wattage. A normal headlight is 55watts Xenons are normally 35watts. Also higher wattage bulbs normally burn out quicker.
