Thumbs down Check Engine + Codes P1300 & P0300

Afternoon Gents.

Started up the car today and got the check engine light. Got to Autozone and got codes P1300 and P0300, both pointing to a missfire. I cleared the codes out and the car runs fine and I haven't seen the check engine since.

Am I right to suspect that my DI is on it's way out? Could it be something else.

Default Same, but did P0455.

Mine did the same, went to Autozone also and pulled a p0455. Guess thats Large evap leak, so I replaced gas cap. I might replace evap purge valve preventatively.

Like yours, I didn't find any driveability issues. Weird how that works, some codes throw you into LimpHome hell.

Replace your sparkplugs first if you haven't done them recently. Otherwise it's likely the DI

Cheers guys and gal

The car got brand new plugs 9K ago when I bought her. After clearing the CEL everything has been roses. I will be giving the local dealer a call to see if my car is covered under the DI recall if the CEL comes back.

What worries me is that I just dropped in a K&N open air filter and am wondering if it might have anything to do with it.

Default P0300B and P1300

Hello!

I was driving to work yesterday, and when i need to accelerate, suddenly my car lost power and the "CEL" turns blink for a few seconds, becoming lit after.

I check the codes and came up this two:

P0300B - random / multiple misfire detected.

and

P1300 - mfr ctrlled sys or misfire.

The difference is, when i stop or even when i'm driving slow, sometimes the engine goes off. The engine idling sometimes has some failures.

I need some advice.

DIC must be replaced?
spark plugs?
oxigen sensor?
anything else?

Please i really appreciate some replies and advice to solve my problem.
Thank You!

Mine has same symptoms except engine doesn't go off, already replaced spark plugs and crank sensor ( new crank sensor reads 1263 ohms when car is hot ) plus new fuel pump, so far no improvements, does anyone has any experience with this issue?

Anybody found a solution yet? I'm having the same issues. The car has had a recent fuel pump change, plugs & DI. I checked for loose, worn through or blown boost hoses at the intercooler, loose or cracked throttle body intake duct, cracked or leaking vacuum lines but the problem continues. Runs good at lower RPM's or if you drive like a little old lady. If I accelerate hard and spool up the turbo to the red line the engine cuts out, falls on it's nose, and the CEL starts flashing. The car recovers, CEL stops flashing and the car runs fine until the next time I romp on the accelerator. Of course, once I repeat several cycles of this the CEL stays on.

Just to follow up. I replaced the fuel filter and still had the same issue. When I replaced the spark plugs and DI earlier I noted that one plug had considerably more carbon then the rest. Given new plugs and DI didn't correct the issue, I suspected an injector problem on that cylinder. I put a can of SeaFoam in the tank and filled it with premium and although its only been about 25 miles to get home last night and then to work this morning, it looks like that cleared up the problem.
