What exactly is the Saab warranty?

There's the 3-year / 36,000 mile free service.

And there's the 5-year / 100,000 mile powertrain warranty.

If my navigation system craps out after one year or if one of the cupholders breaks after two yearsm, am I covered?

I realize I should have checked this carefully before making the purchase, but I saw I didn't read the fine print when I saw 5-year/100,000 miles (e.g. "powertrain").

Both are correct. You also have a 4 year or 50K bumper to bumper warranty that would cover that navigation system or the cupholder.

1. There is also a five year 100,000 mile road side assistance.

2. Saab offers a $1000 hotel, food and miscellaneous reimbursement if your Saab breaks down over a certain distance from home. I believe its 100 miles from your home.

3. Saab has a 10 year UNLIMITED mileage rust through warranty (9-3).

Those are in addition to:

4. Four year/50,000 mile bumper to bumper with no deductible.

5. Five year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty.

6. Free 36,000 mile/three year recommended service costs.

Saab's new car warranty package is far superior to Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Acura, BMW, Lexus, etc.
