Was bored and had to mount my gauges somewhere. I'm not a smoker so I have no use for the ash tray. I removed it and fabricated a piece of plastic the same size with a razor blade. I then cut two circles in it with a 2 inch holesaw bit. I spliced into the heated seat button for ign, gnd, and int. lights. It really worked out great. Especially with the wire taps I used. I just finished around midnight, and my camera is horrible in the dark. Here's the only pic I have for now. Will post more tomorrow.
PS. I have a Air/Fuel gauge but am waiting til after car gets serviced so they don't blame that on some check engine problems I'm having. Stupid 1171... Rather than flooding the room with pictures, I made a small webpage. http://www.street-tunerz.com/webs/900SET/gauge/ Feel free to leave some feedback :-D |

Looks pretty good.. where are you planning on putting that a/f gauge? I just put my boost gauge in place of the stock light switch, never even realy thought of doing something like you did.. looks good!
