previous owner ignored the comon leaks and let it collect and rust up over time. Seems to have just pop through one day, the reason why they sold it, otherwise it was off the a junk yard. I bought it for $400, not bad i figure, i have almost full access to parts, and what i can't get i can get cheap. So over the course of time this high millage beast will be as new, or like new. I am planing on getting the interior this weekend if it is still in the one yard near by...and some tinted tail lights as well as many more needed parts.

All early 9000 owners should check for cracks in the rear inner fender wells. The cracks are common and are not caused by rust but by metal fatiuge. It seens Saab fixed the prob. for the 89 model year.
