SC.com Boston area GTG; 7/18 @ 6 PM; Houghton's Pond

I'm throwing down the guantlet. Who all is interested in a SaabCentral.com Boston area get together on Wednesday, 7/18, at Houghton's Pond (Canton/Milton area)? Let's say 6 PM.

The last time I was at Houghton's Pond, which admittedly was years ago, there was a burger stand at the beach, so food is a possibility.

There will certainly be a vast number of digital cameras to record the event and we can report back here for all to see/read.

To be perfectly honest, I'm the newbie. I've only had my SAAB for just over a week and on this site for just over 2 weeks.

Wednesday's weather looks great. It'll be a great early evening at Houghton's Pond.

BTW, I was in Duxbury today. It was a bit breezy and cloudy down at the beach.

Hey all, I'm Robb, new to the Saab game. Just acquired my 9-3 June of this year, still trying to get used to it. If this is still a go tommorow I'm going to try to make it, I'm not to far from Houghton's pond and it'd be cool to see what other Saab owners have done/ are doing with their rides 'cause as of right now I have no clue.

Hey, Robb, I'm certainly going to be there. It'd be great if this thing turns out to be more than just me getting together with myself. I'm pretty sure that the priest at my local church told me to stop doing that sort of thing years ago.

In any event, I'll probably be there at 6 PM. I'll take a few minutes to wipe down the vert with a detailer, grab a hotdog at the stand (I hope it's open at that time), take some digiPix of the car and (hopefully) other attendees, and then just hang out and listen to the radio.

It'll be low key, for sure, but that's how things all start out anyway.
