Talking 260,000 on the clock, 14,000 on the altimeter

...and she gets up and down "America's highest auto road" without a hitch!

The girlfriend took a short video through the upper switchbacks, pretty boring really - you kinda have to be there to realize just how spectacular those sights are!

Errr, 14,260ft is 2.7 miles. Perhaps the road is 14 miles long?

I'll try pike's peak one of these weekends... and yes, an amazing drive. Kinda scary.

14k feet is just under 3 miles up, the road is 14 miles long.
