Default 2003 9-3 Linear -- dyno results

Went to Iowa with a bunch of Saab guys (I think there were a few people from this forum there).

Back story on my car 2003 9-3SS 2.0t five speed: advertised as 175hp / 185 tq

I have a Simmon's catback exhaust (minus the resonator) and a K&N drop in.

Hop on the Mustang Dyno:

179hp @5094rpm and 103mph

209.9 lb-ft @ 3587 rpm and 73mph

I knew that the previous models were underrated but wasn't sure of the SS models--unless that catback REALLY helps

No, I don't have the graph.

I learned of it on SaabLink.net not sure if there was a post here about it.

It was hosted by MyerGarage.

Nice numbers....The catback probably helped a bit at the top end, but that sounds like a nice healthy engine.

Now it's time to go a little crazy

You mean, like, sell the car and buy an Evo.

Only if your longest drive is 20 miles...

Evos are a blast to drive, as are STis, but the comfort factor is sorely lacking.

I'm surprised by the numbers. I expected them to be lower especially since it was a Mustang dyno. Nice job.
