Electric V.S. Non-Electric mirror conversion
On my 88 900 base model it has manual mirror on it and the glass has fallen out of them. I have a pair of electric mirrors, I can either swap the center peice or install the whole assembly.
Q. Would a base model still have the wiring for the electric mirrors? I'm fishing around in there with my hand and I'm not feeling anything.....I was hopeing it would but maybe not... If there's no wiring then there's no sense in installing the whole assembly as there would be no way to adjust them.  Anyone know?

if the wire is not there its not worth it, manual mirrors work just fine. i recently(almost a year ago) bought a mirror glass at carquest that came with an adhesive kit. 11 months and its still hanging on there.it cost about $12. not tinted, but the real world isnt either.
if yer really stuck p.m. me ive got spares. i dont sell parts,i find them good homes.

The manual mirrors don't really bother me, kind of goes with the car. I'm just going to take the mirror piece off of the electric ones and adhere them to the manual ones. I'm halfway there already. I didn't even know they made 'em with manual mirrors. Sounds like a PITA if you can't adjust the ****er sitting properly
