60k service for 2002 Viggen 9-3?

Hey guys-just hit 60,000 on my 9-3 Viggen convertible and wanted suggestions for getting the 60k service.


The local Saab dealership quoted around $650 for this service but according to what they do,
a lot of it sounds like checks with few major items being replaced-

What is your opinion on what to do at 60k?

What is your opinion on what to do at 60k?These is much more to check out and replace at 120K miles , I'd hate to see the dealer charge for this service...
Warranty, or not, I would not even think of going to a dealer - for any vehicle...
DIY is easy....keep a list and records..

Did your dealership present a list of the things they do and check ??
This is exactly the work I did, back in the 60s,70s, but for far less money. And, we had to do more....
The items a knowledgeable man examines are important, and have a value; but this must be reasonable..

Thanks so much for your reply and help.
There is a list I received.
THey do a lot of 'checks'. For example- inspect air bags, battery, all fluids, exhaust, etc. They lubcricate all doors.
As far as replace they say they replace:
air filters, drive belt and engine oil.
They don't do fuel injectors- that is an add'l 150.00

Let me know what you think- not sure what to do and what is just fluff! =)
