Hey guys-just hit 60,000 on my 9-3 Viggen convertible and wanted suggestions for getting the 60k service.
The local Saab dealership quoted around $650 for this service but according to what they do, a lot of it sounds like checks with few major items being replaced- What is your opinion on what to do at 60k? Thanks! -Kasey |

This is exactly the work I did, back in the 60s,70s, but for far less money. And, we had to do more.... The items a knowledgeable man examines are important, and have a value; but this must be reasonable.. Is it ?

Hey Earthworm,
Thanks so much for your reply and help. There is a list I received. THey do a lot of 'checks'. For example- inspect air bags, battery, all fluids, exhaust, etc. They lubcricate all doors. As far as replace they say they replace: air filters, drive belt and engine oil. They don't do fuel injectors- that is an add'l 150.00 Let me know what you think- not sure what to do and what is just fluff! =) |
