I've been through the whole 'SERVICE THEFT ALARM' issue and replaced the batteries and capacitors.
I guess I fell into the trap of getting the batteries that looked the same but only lasted 6 months or so.
Out of frustration I got the SAAB dealer to disable the alarm.
However, whenever I startup now I get three warning chimes; does anyone know if this is an effect of disabling the alarm?
There was also a problem regarding the radio. I had the battery out the day before and it was asking for a code when I switched it back on. The dealer took some time to resolve this, could this be the cause?
