Is it my window regulator - nope its bigger problems
My window is stuck in the up postion. It never made a sound clicking grinding before it happened. Do you still think its the regulator? If the regular is bad doesnt the window slide down?
Well i didnt relize i had other problems along with the dead window. My lock and window do not work on the driver door. The back lights on the lock button are also out. Now the lock button will still operate the 3 other doors and my remote will open the 3 doors as well. I guess its an electrical problem.
The regulator can get stuck with the Window up, or it could be the motor burned out, even a bad switch. When you get the door disassembled, apply voltage directly to the motor. If it works then it's the switch, if it doesn't, then it's the motor.
I'm not sure I understood, when you said it never made a sound before...does that mean it's making the clicking/grinding now? If that's the case, there's a tab that snaps/breaks on the regulator, and that's probably it.

I would check the fuse panel for the driver side door switch. I would check to make sure your getting a good connection between the wire harness in the door sill( between the two door hinges).
If you pull the door card and take a look it will be fairly obviuos if its a bad regulator keeping your window up.
It sounds like and electrical problem, especially if all of these symptoms happen all of asudden.
Past that i would have to say you have a bad switch. Good luck
